Two-step authentication

Two-step authentication, also known as two-factor authentication, adds an extra layer of security to your login process. It requires you to enter both your password and a code from your phone or security key in order to log in. This makes it much more difficult for unauthorized users to access your account, even if they know your password.

I suggest that you enable two-step authentication for your FastCommerce account today if you are not already using it. It is a simple and effective way to add an extra layer of security to your account. You can activate it on the Login Settings page.

To enable two-step verification:

  1. From your FastCommerce admin, click your account name at the top right corner.
  2. Select Login Settings on the drop-down menu.
  3. On the Login Settings page, turn on one of the following methods to receive verification codes: SMS or email. You can only enable one method.
