Quotes

A quote is a formal offer from a seller to a potential buyer that outlines the price and terms for specific products or services, often in response to a request for quote (RFQ).

To use the Quote feature, install the RFQ, Quote & Hide Price app.

Create Quote from RFQ

  1. On the RFQ Detail page, click the Create Quote button in the top-right corner.

  2. On the New Quote page, set the quote price and click Save.

Create Quote from New

  1. From your FastCommerce admin, go to Orders > Quotes.

  2. Click the Create Quote button in the top-right corner.

  3. On the New Quote page, select the customer, products, set the quote price and click Save.

Send Quote

On the Quote Details page, click the Send button in the top-right corner. The quote will be emailed to the customer, and you’ll receive a copy as well.

Convert Quote to Order

  1. Make sure the quote has been sent to the customer.
  2. Click the Convert to Order button to be redirected to the New Order page.
  3. Create the order on the New Order page.
