Audiences

Audiences are organized into three main sections: Lists, Segments, and Contacts, which help you manage and target your contact database effectively.
  • Lists: A list is a collection of individual contact records grouped together, typically imported or manually managed.

  • Segments: A segment is a dynamic subset of your contact database or list, created based on specific conditions or filters (e.g., behavior, attributes, or engagement).

  • Contacts: Contacts represent all individual people stored in your database, including every imported or manually added record.

Lists

You can import contacts using lists:
  1. Navigate to Marketing > Audiences > Lists
  2. Click Import List
  3. On the Import Lists page, download the list template
  4. Fill in the template with contact information
  5. Upload the completed file

Segments

You can create a new segment:
  1. Navigate to Marketing > Audiences > Segments
  2. Click Add New Segment
  3. On the New Segment page, enter a name and description
  4. Use Filters to define your target audience
  5. Click Apply to preview results
  6. Click Save to create the segment

Contacts

You can add individual contacts manually:
  1. Navigate to Marketing > Audiences > Contacts
  2. Click Add New Contact
  3. On the New Contact page, enter contact information
  4. Click Save to add the contact to your database
